The inspiring trombone player Lisa Sarasini, is set to fly in from Italy to join the 65 young musicians of the Cornwall Youth Band on their Christmas residential course in Truro later this month.

Finland and Italy

Having spent six months with an orchestra in Finland in 2008 she is now studying trombone and teaching music in Italy, as well as making regular appearances with bands in the UK.

The course will be led by Garry Cutt, and the band will be giving a Gala Concert at St Michael’s Church in Newquay at the conclusion of the four days of hard work and fun.
