Bedford Town Band recently performed a successful charity concert, in aid of Barnados Childrens Charity.

Big feature

The concert featured guest soloist Glyn Williams, sponsored by Sterling Musical Instruments, who enthralled the audience with his superb playing.

However, even Glyn was upstaged by the band — although not quite with their playing!

The concert saw the official launch of their 2010 calendar 'Naked', which features members of the band in some very different poses with their instruments — but some still with their socks on!

Quick dash

Sales went so well that at the interval a quick dash had to be made back to the bandroom to bring in more supplies to meet the demand.

The calendar has been featured in local papers and news of demand has seen it feature on local radio. Sales have gone so well that a re-print is already underway!
