This Sunday, the current Scottish champion, Co-operative Funeralcare will appear on the Radio Scotland programme 'Classics Unwrapped'.

The band will be heard in a programme of music which was recorded in front of a live audience in St. Cuthbert’s Parish Church in Edinburgh last Friday.

Trumpet soloist

The band was conducted by Terry Johns, one of their associate conductors and the trumpet soloist was Mark O’Keeffe who gave a performance of the Haydn 'Trumpet Concerto'.

Among a number of other items which will be heard are 'The Hebrides Overture' and 'Shepherd’s Song' from 'Songs Of The Auvergne'.
