Dunston rev up with sponsorship

Dunston Silver gain sponsorship deal with national car dealer.

Dunston

Dunston Silver, from just outside Gateshead has announced a sponsorship deal with national retailer, Bristol Street Motors.

Financial support

The deal provides financial support for the next twelve months and will enable investment in new uniforms and development of the band.

The band comprises members ranging from 15 to 70 years of age and has strong links with local schools. The band’s headquarters in Dunston are overlooked across the river by Bristol Street Motors’ flagship Vauxhall dealership in Newcastle on Scotswood Road.

Role

Band Manager Keith Lee told 4BR: "This support from Bristol Street Motors provides the band with vital funds to fulfil its community role and ensure the tradition of brass bands in this part of the North East can go from strength to strength."
