Didn't work out
A source told 4BR: "It just didn’t work out as we hoped. Sometimes the chemistry is there, sometimes it isn’t, and it soon became apparent that it wasn’t going to work for the band."
Better band trainer
The former Black Dyke principal cornet and MD of Fodens and Sellers had been brought to work with the band less than a month ago.
Then, Brighouse President Paul Beaumont declared in British Bandsman magazine that; "…I cannot think of a better band trainer or a safer pair of hands to entrust our future direction."
He also added that, "I’m looking forward to great things from the B&R ‘Dream Team’ next year."
