Royal Spa Brass from Leamington Spa has announced the appointment of Iain Masson as their new MD.

Iain is a 28 year old professional composer, conductor, and workshop leader from Carnoustie in Scotland.

Rolled up sleeves

Now based in Birmingham, he is also an accomplished pianist and conducts a number of bands and orchestras including Bedworth Symphony Orchestra. He was taught by Thomas Simaku, John Mayer and Adam Gorb.

Carols

Iain has already rolled up his sleeves and started preparing the band for a busy Christmas Season and the next major performance to an audience of 2,500 people at Carols at Warwick Castle in December.
