Thoresby Colliery welcome back former duo.

Thoresby Colliery Band has announced the return of two former players to the band.

Return

Trombonist Neil Wharton returns following a period working away from the area. Neil played with the band when they gained promotion to the Grand Shield in 2007.

Also returning is former Chairman and cornet player, Keith Buxton.

Keith has decided to fill the vacant repiano seat in the band, while also fulfilling his commitments as MD with the Pleasley Colliery Band.
