Forest of Dean Brass recently returned from the Oxford & District BBA Entertainment contest with a second place to their name — and just a single point behind winners, Championship section, Kidlington Concert Brass.
Song and Dance
Conducted by new MD Jack D Smith, the band opted for a programme with a song and dance theme, featuring the upbeat waltz 'Belle of the Ball' arranged by the MD, followed by 'Shepherds Song', 'Wind Beneath my Wings' featuring trombonist Lyndon Cole and closing with 'Let’s Face the Music and Dance'.
