Rushen Silver Band recently held a 60th Anniversary Concert and raised over £1,500 for the Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Port Erin Branch.
The concert was funded by the Alistair Drinkwater Memorial Fund, allowing every penny raised to go to the charity.

The sell out concert, held at Castle Rushen High School, featured the Band conducted by Dick Evans with guest soloist Owen Farr.

Varied
The band played a varied programme during the evening, together with accompanying Owen Farr. After a light hearted solo from one of the band’s own, the evening was finished off with 'You’ll Never Walk Alone' in tribute to Alistair Drinkwater and Graham Clague.
