On Saturday, November 7th, Charley Brighton will be premiering the brass band version of Terry Treherne's new euphonium solo 'Maestoso Spiritoso' as a guest with the Staines Band of the Salvation Army in Ashford.
Bandmaster Tim Parker will conduct the premier of the brass band version.
Minor changes
Composer Terry Treherne has made a few minor changes to this edition, originally written for Charley and accompanist Malcolm Stowell, and performed at St. Mary's, Slough in February of this year.
Also in the programme is a special adaptation (with the composers permission) of 'Sunrise, Sunset' from 'Fiddler on the Roof', originally scored for flute & piano by Adam Gorb, and John Golland's 'Peace'.
