The 2009 Hardraw Scar Brass Band Festival was blessed with perfect weather last weekend.
Sun shine
The sun shone, the Yorkshire dales gleamed on the skyline and children paddled in the river while the bands played their hearts out to an audience of over 1,000.
The contest is a run as a collaboration between the owner of the Green Dragon Inn and the Yorkshire and Humberside Brass Band Association with the generous support of a number of local sponsors including Theakston’s Brewery.
