The Leicestershire Co-op (Snibston) Band has moved into a new band room.

Roots

The band is now located closer to it's roots, in the Springboard Centre, in the centre of Coalville, just a stones throw away from the band's original Snibston Colliery roots.

Coming home

Band Secretary Joan Ball told 4BR: "It's like coming home. We're right back in the centre of Coalville where we belong. The management of the Springboard Centre have been really helpful in accommodating us and we're really proud to be back."

It really brings things together. The band has a great future now. It's a real step forwardMD, Graham Jacklin

Great future

Meanwhile, Graham Jacklin, Musical Director added: "It's a great facility. We can now run our training band from the same location as the main band. It really brings things together. The band has a great future now. It's a real step forward."
