After a real period of uncertainty that led to the temporary closing of the banding doors, Thomas Coaches Mid-Rhondda Band is resuming weekly rehearsals on Thursday 20th August at 7.45pm at the Bandhall Dunraven Street, Tonypandy.

Succesful

The band has enjoyed a long and succesful history and despite the recent problems, a great amount of hard work has resulted in the start of a banding revival and real hope for the long term future.

Conductor Alan Gibbs told 4BR: "An invitation is extended to all players interested in coming along for a blow and we hope all the hard work will pay off."
