The second West Mercia Music Festival is set to take place again.

The Second Music Festival for non-competing bands will take place on Sunday 31st January 2010, at Hindlip Hall, Police HQ in Worcester.

Open

It is also open to school and youth bands and if any contesting bands would like to participate then they will be included if there is room for them. It is a festival, not a contest, and bands will be allowed 20 mins playing time.

There is no entry fee. An adjudication will be given for a band's performance only if requested by the band.

Dai Francis told 4BR: "Last year's Festival was a great success and a great social occasion and we hope that more bands will avail themselves of the opportunity of making music for music's sake and forget, for the day, the spectre of competition."

All participating ands will be given a certificate for participating.
Bar and food will be available during the afternoon.
