The 2009 SWBBA Exmouth Brass Band Festival has attracted a commendable entry of 12 bands from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Staffordshire for the contest on 5th September
Entertainment
Each band will compete in the Exmouth Pavilion for the 'Exmouth Town Council Challenge Trophy', presenting a 25-minute programme of own-choice music to the adjudicator, Captain David Barringer.
Additionally, throughout the day, the same bands will entertain the general public with 30-minute concerts in the adjacent Pavilion Gardens.

Commence
The day’s events commence at 10.00am and the Association is greatly indebted to the Exmouth Town Council, Miller Countrywide Estate Agents and Devon Music Service for their generous support of the Festival, and to the East Devon District Council and management of the Pavilion for their logistical assistance in promoting the Festival.
Tickets
Tickets to the Entertainment Contest are priced at £6 (concessions £5) available on the day.
