The Foden's Band was recently invited by the 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band to appear as their special guests in a concert held at the Royal Court Theatre, Bacup.

Masterclass

Earlier in the day Mark Wilkinson and Glyn Williams held a joint masterclass. It was a welcome return to the band for both Mark and Glyn, both of whom have worked with the band before.

Following the masterclass, other Fodens players joined to work on pieces conducted by Glyn, where the band also accompanied guest soloist Helen Williams.

Short concert

Following the one hour rehearsal a short concert was given to the parents of the youngsters.

Later, the packed theatre was treated to a concert by both bands that included a polished performance of Peter Grahams' 'Windows of the World'.
