4BR Money List

Cory close gap at the top as World Championship cash comes in handy at Kerkrade.

Money

Even though July is usually a quiet month for band contesting, there has been some action and movement in the 4BR Money List thanks to the World Championships in Kerkrade and a few March & Hymn Tune contests closer to home.

Closing the gap

Cory's win meant that they have now closed the gap on their rivals at the top of the table. They picked up a healthy wodge of Euro (plus a cornet) after taking the WMC title to push them up to 3rd place overall.

With the big money payouts at the British Open and Nationals to come, it will be interesting to see who remains as the top money earner come October.

Less than two grand

At the moment there is less than £2,000 seperating Black Dyke and Cory, with Fodens perched right in the mix too. The British Open has a top prize of £3,000 so its all up for grabs.

The other movers this month have been Treize Etoile who came runner up to Cory at Kerkrade, and Marsden who picked up some nice bunce for their march and hymn tune efforts of late.
