Busy time for Poulton Youth

Poulton Youth has had a busy time of it of late.

Poulton

Poulton Youth Band have had a busy time over the last 6 months.

PLC

Recently they were delighted to hold a masterclass with Paul Lovatt-Cooper, who was just back from a trip to Japan. Paul worked with the band on four of his pieces.

A fantastic time was had by all who attended and Paul proved to be a great inspiration for the young players (as well as some older ones too!).

Rock You

At the end of May, the band went to see 'We Will Rock You' at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Everyone enjoyed the show, which was fantastic and we even made time to stop for pizzas on the way home!

The trip was a great team building exercise and chance for players to socialise with each other away from the band room.

Over the last 12 months Poulton Youth Band are proud that 5 players have graduated to become regular playing members of Poulton-Le-Fylde Band4BR
