Prizes:

1st: £3,000 plus the British Open Challenge Trophy and the Belle Vue Challenge Cup.
2nd: £2,000 plus the Frank Parker Memorial Cup.
3rd: £1,500 plus the Harry Mortimer Trophy.
4th: £1,000 plus the Edrich Siebert Memorial Trophy.
5th: £500 plus the John Gladney Trophy.
6th: £400 plus the William Rimmer Trophy.

The Iles Medal was awarded to Philip Sparke.

The Mortimer Medal was awarded to Derek Greenwood.

The winning conductor, Robert Childs was awarded the Mortimer Maestro Trophy.

The Best Soloist, Nigel John, Euphonium, Buy As You View Cory, won the Stanley Wainwright Memorial Trophy plus £100.

No points were awarded.

B.T., Rolls Royce (Coventry) and NSK-RHP Ransome were relegated.

Chinnor Silver

July 23 • Require a Bass player (Bb or Eb), Bass trombone, Soprano cornet and Percussionist. We are a friendly, ambitious 2nd section band that will start 2025 at the top of their Regional league table. We are located in South Oxfordshire and have our own bandroom in Chinnor


Linthwaite Band

July 23 • We are a 4th section contesting Band, based on the outskirts of Huddersfield, and we currently have a vacancy for a tenor trombone, to complete our friendly team.
