1st: '350 plus '2000 Guineas Gold Challenge Trophy.
2nd: '200 plus the Frank Parker Memorial Cup.
3rd: '150

The youngest player on the day was awarded a miniature trophy.

Woodfalls, Ransome Hoffman & Pollard, Patchogue Plymouth and GUS were not invited to the 1977 contest.

The Iles Medal was awarded to Roy Newsome.

The winning conductor received an engraved silver gallery tray and goblets.

The winning solo cornet player received an engraved silver gallery tray.

The winning band secretary won an executive attache case.

The winning band also received '45 worth of mutes and '20 of music.

June 7 • Our Community Band is meeting on Monday {9th} and would welcome anyone who fancies an extra friendly rehearsal,with coffee and cake involved.. We rehearse in our bandroom at 11am its free and it open to all abilities.. No commitment required.
