Poynton hand out the gongs

This is what we call service to the cause... 300 years!

Poynton

The Buxton Contest earlier this month saw a milestone for the Vernon Building Society Poynton Band, with 10 of its members receiving long service awards totalling over 300 years!

Great achievement

Dave Johnson, the band co-chairman told 4BR: "It’s a great achievement for our band to have so many committed players. It shows that the movement is still alive and well in the North West."
