King Arthur celebrates 70 years

Arthur Waddington recently celebrated his 70 years of banding by getting a great memory of the time he was a Nationals King with Wingates.

On the occasion of his 75th birthday, Enfield Band marked Arthur Waddington's 70 years of involvement within the brass band movement.

Wingates win

Arthur, who is currently solo horn with the Enfield Band, has played with many bands, but the undoubted highlight was his National Championship win with Wingates Temperance in 1971. At this time Arthur was playing 2nd baritone.
