The Rutgers Euphonium Studio Quartet of David DeMair, Raymond Henrickson, Melanie Griffen and Joshua Stavola, recently gave the world premiere of Rodney Newton's 'Three Places in Old England' as winners of the Mason Gross School of the Arts Chamber Competition.
Dedicated
The group is coached by Dr. Stephen Arthur Allen, to whom Rodney graciously dedicated the quartet.
Valuable
"This work is a very valuable addition to the growing repertoire for euphonium quartet, and is technically within the range of most groups," Dr. Allen commented to 4BR.
