Kat's whiskers for Desford

Champions opt for Jason Katsikaris for All England Masters International title defence.

The current Masters Champions, Desford Colliery has announced that Jason Katsikaris has agreed to conduct the band in its defence of thier title later this month.

Pedigree

A spokesman for the band told 4BR: "Jason has a proven pedigree at the highest level. He is currently the principal conductor of the Leyland Band and has recently returned from ‘down-under’ where he directed Gunnedah to a historic National Championship win. We are very much looking forward to working with him."

Big news

In addition to the contest Jason will be taking the band on Saturday 23rd for a pre contest concert also in the Corn Exchange in Cambridge.

The band stated that they have made a significant conducting capture for the British Open and National Championships later this year.
