Last night, at the House of Lords, Boobs & Brass were presented with an 'Outstanding Achievement' award by Breast Cancer Campaign for the support they have given to the charity.
Dropping
Whilst breast cancer is still the most common cancer in the UK, the good news is that the mortaility rates are dropping as more and more research is carried out to find ways to help sufferers.
Accolade
Boobs & Brass are very proud at receiving this accolade but know that this could not have been achieved without the fantastic and very generous support from everyone who have helped them in their efforts and are now even more determined to continue with this concept.

Encourage
Maggie from the band told 4BR: "We want every brass band in the UK to know what we are doing and hopefully encourage them to also raise funds and awareness for this much deserving cause."
Help
She added: "No matter who we speak to, it seems that all of them have either friends, family or loved ones affected by breast cancer. Can the brass band movement as a whole contribute to doing something about it?
"I am convinced they can — if every band raised £50 that would be a serious amont of funding to enable the scientists and doctors to seek a cure."
