The KM Medway Band under conductor Melvin White, were reently invited to join the cast of the touring show 'Beyond the Barricade', in a performance in Chatham.

Tuba player Russell Kennedy performed 'Bass in the Ballroom', whilst the band also performed items on stage as part of the show — both performances receiving rapturous applause from the packed audience.

Interest

Band Manager David Blowers told 4BR: "After the show members of the audience, many of whom had never heard a Brass Band before, were fulsome in their praise and registered an interest in future performances by the Band."
