Kippax welcome Lancaster

David Lancaster has been announced as the new MD of the Kippax Band.

The Kippax Band has announced the appointment of Dave Lancaster as their new MD.

Experience

David was MD of the Harrogate Band, from 1996-2008 during which time they climbed from the Third Section to the Championship Section and established a reputation for innovative and imaginative concert performances.

Kippax Band are excited to be working with David towards their return to the First Section in 2010, and we hope mutually successful times are aheadKippax Band

Innovative

In recent years he has also worked with Reg Vardy and Yorkshire Imperial.

David is a member of the NABBC and ABBA and he has adjudicated at several major contests, and regularly writes for Brass Band World magazine.

Excited

David Jackson told 4BR: "Kippax Band are excited to be working with David towards their return to the First Section in 2010, and we hope mutually successful times are ahead."
