Culross departs from Hammonds

Iain Culross has announced his departure from Hammonds Saltaire Band.

Iain Culross has informed 4BR that he has resigned from his position as Principal Cornet of the Hammonds Saltaire Band with immediate effect.

New horizons

Iain stated: "I felt that for myself personally it was the right time for a change, and to pursue new horizons."

He added: "I have greatly enjoyed my time with the band and I would like to thank everyone associated with the band for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of their musical journey. I wish them all the very best of luck and success for the future."

Iain is currently in the middle of a MA Music(Performance) at the University of Salford, and has been the recipient of a Dewar Arts Award.
