Army help in Zambia

18 members of the Salvation Army in Chelmsford are setting off to bring help in Zambia.

Yesterday, a group of 18 members of The Salvation Army from Chelmsford, Essex, including nine members of the Chelmsford Citadel band, travelled to Zambia.

There they will be visiting the Salvation Army hospital and school, in Chikankata, to undertake various duties and generally trying to help where they can.

Help

They are not just going to doing touristy things but also to work at the hospital by giving training sessions on various topics (IT skills, nursing skills, management good practice etc) plus they will also be running a music school.

In their luggage they will be taking a number of instruments and a quantity of tambourines for use in the music school which they will leave when they return home4BR
