Fodens Principal Cornet Mark Wilkinson is on his way back to his first footsteps of banding this weekend as he makes a guest appearance with the Ellenbrook & Boothstown Band.

Roots

Mark joined his local band aged 6 and quickly progressed to even greater things, but he has not forgotten his roots and still keeps in contact with the band.

Mark appears with the band regularly but this time it will be a special guest appearance for him as he will featured in the cornet duet, 'Ida and Dot' with his first cornet tutor, Geoff Sale.

The band are very proud of him and what he has achieved throughout his playing career and no doubt will have more success to come in the futureGeoff Sale
