Since 2003, the ITA has promoted the trombone in over a dozen countries through International Trombone Week.

ITW celebrations have included performances by trombone soloists and ensembles, brass quintets, community bands, high school bands, big bands and more.

This year, they invite all trombone players — beginners through professionals — to contribute to the fun.

How can I get involved?

It's simple: Do something in honour of the trombone during the week of April 5th-12th — and share it with your community.

The goal is to create something to be proud of, as it raises public appreciation of our instrument's beauty and flexibility.
