Boost for Newport

Newport Borough get a boost to the player ranks ahead of Swansea.

Newport Borough Band has announced the appointment of four new players to complete their line up in time for the Welsh Regional Championships in Swansea.

Welcome

The band welcome Max Joesph from BTM on solo cornet, whilst John Harries who formerly played with Abertillery and Parc and Dare joins on flugel horn.

We are pleased to welcome players of this calibre at Newport Borough Band as we build for the future and try to improve on our third placing at the regional last yearNewport Borough Band

Also joining is Suzanne Hathaway who returns to contesting to play solo trombone to help out her husband Alun who will be conducting the band at Swansea. Colin Thomas also joins on Eb flat Bass.
