Building on their recent success at the Scottish Challenge Shield in Perth, the Bathgate Band, continues to consolidate with the arrival of a number of new players, and the return of some old faces too.
Cornet arrivals
The soprano seat is filled by Johan Hentze, currently studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, and the cornet section is further strengthened by the arrival of Mark McLaughlin from Kingdom Brass and Andy Connell-Smith who is also studying at the Academy.

Regimental help
Long time stalwart, Dick Pritchard also returns, this time in the baritone section, whilst bass player Kevin Turnbull (joining his wife Sharon) and percussionist Alan Taylor, both of whom are currently playing with the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, complete the line-up for Dundee, where the band will play under the baton of their Musical Director, Stephen Baird.
