Desford Colliery Band composer in residence, Tom Davoren, has recently completed his first baritone commission for Carole Crompton.

Tour de force

The piece entitled 'Baritonality' is ‘tour de force’ for the instrument and is hoped will provide essential original repertoire for baritone soloists.

Carole has been working with Tom for the past six months to develop the piece, which will be premiered at Morley Town next month with the Hepworth(Cookson Homes)Band.
