Marshfield Band have announced that Dan Jones will be conducting them in Torquay for this year’s west of England Regionals in March.
Experience
Dan started playing the cornet at the age of 7 and was taught by David Thomas (ex-Sunlife Band). Dan then went to play for City of Bristol Band where he stayed for 12 years. He then played for Portishead Town Band where he occupied the principal cornet seat for 2 years.

British Open
In 2006 Dan moved onto tenor horn and soon joined Polysteel(Flowers). He spent two successful years at Polysteel included their win at the Grand Shield qualifying for the British Open.
Opportunity
