Gareth Westwood has been appointed the new MD at the Poulton le Fylde Band.

Following their promotion to the Championship Section in 2009, the Poulton-le-Fylde Band has appointed Gareth Westwood as its new MD.

Experience

Gareth has been involved in top class banding for a considerable time, recently relinquishing his trombone seat at Fodens. He has also conducted recently at Haydock, Marsden and Eagley Bands.

Spokesperson Andy Moore told 4BR: "Being a relatively young band, Gareth has already started to make an impression by inspiring the players to reach their full potential. The band is now working hard for its appearances at Brass at the Guild and the North West Area competition."
