The death of Phil Plant has been announced.
Constant drive
Phil was a father, grandfather, friend and colleague and is now forever reunited with his beloved Violet. Phil was a stalwart with his constant drive, commitment and enthusiasm to the Ratby Co-operative Band and was fundamental and core to the organisation's success and ethos.
As one bandsman described him: "A great man who will be missed by all."

Funeral details
The funeral will take place on Thursday 22nd January, 1pm at St Philip & St James Church, Ratby. Family and friends are then invited back to the Bull's Head in Ratby. If you would like to play at the service, please contact: Becky Moss on tingle_trom@hotmail.com
