Members of Macclesfield Youth Brass Band were recognised for their hard work and commitment at the band’s Christmas concert at St Michaels Church, Macclesfield last Saturday.

All the members of the band, which now has over 90 members aged 7 to 19 years, took part in the festive celebration.

Awards
Recipients of the Youth band awards were Phillip Cuthbert trombone) 'Most Improved Player' and Angus Naylor (cornet) 'Best Bandsman'.
The Junior band awards for 'Most Improved Player' went to Alice Waterhouse (cornet) and Fraser Butler (bass). 'Most Promising Beginner' awards went to Kobi Hartley (cornet) and Isaac Franklin (baritone)
MYBB Musical Director Louise Renshaw told 4BR: "Well done to all the award winners. They have worked really hard this year and have made a great contribution to the band."
