Last weekend Besses o' th' Barn played to a packed house at Radcliffe Civic Suite, as part of a joint Christmas concert with The Affetside Choir.

Delighted

In front of over 300 delighted spectators, the Choir, led by Marjorie Haugh, entertained the audience with seasonal selections, before the band did the same in brass.

Fantasy

To close the afternoon, the band and choir joined together, under the direction of Besses MD Carl Whiteoak, to perform Gordon Langford’s ‘A Christmas Fantasy’.

By all accounts all those in attendance said what a wonderful day they had had, and how much they were looking forward to the next joint concert in the Summer!
