Set your watch for BST Day

The British Trombone Society is holding its North West Quartet Contest this weekend — so get along with those bones of yours...

The British Trombone Society will be holding its North West Trombone Quartet Competition this Sunday, November 7th at Peel Hall, University of Salford.

Masterclass

The event, organised by Gareth Westwood and Brett Baker, begins at 10:30am with the contest 'Draw'. The competition will then commence at 11:00am and will last until approximately 12:30.

Following a short lunch break, trombone star Brett Baker will deliver a masterclass from 1-2 after which the results of the competition will be announced.

The whole day is expected to finish around 2:30pm

The BTS are striving for a significant audience to both the competition and masterclass events, and would love to see as many brass enthusiasts as possible making the trip to Salford this Sunday4BR
