We hope that this initiative will help us find the future stars of the Kippax Band, and help secure the long term future of one of the oldest bands in the countryKippax Band

Support

The group has the full support of the band’s chairman Colin Moss and also the band’s MD David Horn.

Colin told 4BR: "We hope that this initiative will help us find the future stars of the Kippax Band, and help secure the long term future of one of the oldest bands in the country."

Importance

David added: "We place great importance in the value of youth development in the Kippax band and we already have two very promising young cornet players in the band. We hope this new venture will unearth new talent on all manner of different instruments for the future."
