Granite City Brass from Aberdeen has annoucned that they have secured the services of David Ashworth to spearhead their bid for success at the 2009 Scottish Championships in Dundee.

The band hope that with over 50 years experience in the brass band movement David's reputation as one of the best conductors outside the Championship Section will pay dividends for them.
