Principal Minshall

It's a matter of principal for Fodens star bass trombonist.

Fodens bass trombone player Simon Minshall has been awarded the 1st Bass Trombone position with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, as well as being offered the 'Section Principal' role.

Audition

Simon joined the orchestra in January 2008 and is delighted with his recent appointment following his audition with Peter Gane and John Miller in London last week.

Young star

Simon joined Fodens aged 14 and has established himself as one of the countries hottest young talents, whilst the orchestra is considered one of the best of its kind in the world.

He is a fantastic young player and we are sure he will continue to make a name for himself both in the brass band and orcheatral worldMark Wilkinson
