The Camborne Band is in the hunt for a big payout after their application to ITV's 'People's Millions' has seen the band shortlisted for a possible dollop of much needed cash.
Support
The band are hoping to gain as much support as possible to enable them to refurbish their 80 year old bandroom and through their hard work, their project has won a place on the list going forward to the public vote.
Intention
The intention is to build toilets, disabled access and a storeroom, replace the ceiling and lights, replace windows and upgrade electrical switchgear. To complete this work the band have applied for a £50,000 lottery grant through the Big Lottery Fund's People’s Millions and are asking for support when it comes to the public vote.

TV feature
This project will be featured on ITV West Country (Channel 3) regional news programme on Tuesday 25th November at 6pm and on that night, the viewing public will be asked to choose between the Band’s project and one other from their ITV Regional News area. The project that receives most votes will be declared the winner and offered a grant.
Voting
The voting lines will be open at 9am on the 25th November and close at Midnight. Voting is only possible on this date.
