Tuba Carols

Following the success of last year's mamoth effort, the tubas are out in force again for a great cause.

Following last year’s successful re-launch Tuba Carols London 2008 has been announced. Last year the event attracted 29 players, including some of London’s top professionals, and this year the organises are hoping for even more.

St Pauls

The event will take place on Sunday 14th December, 12.45pm until 14.30pm at St.Paul’s Cathedral, in front of the main west steps by Queen Anne’s statue.

Massed ranks

Patrick Harrild, Principal Tuba of the London Symphony Orchestra, will be on hand to conduct and once again the massed tuba ranks will perform 4 part carol arrangements by John Fletcher and David Powell — parts of which will be available in both bass and treble clef.
