The judges have been announced for this years Brass in Concert Championship.

Music

The music programmes for this year’s contest will be adjudicated by professor David King, fresh from his stint in the box at the Royal Albert Hall, and composer Stephen Roberts.

Entertainment

Meanwhile the entertainment side of things will fall on the shoulders of conductor and trombonist Andrew Berryman and the experienced David Horsfield with Vienna Philharmonic Principal Trombonist Ian Bousefield picking the ‘Best Soloist’.

March 18 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd euphonium and 2nd baritone player to help complete the team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
