A 30 piece Cuban Music Big Band at Leeds College of Music is in desperate need of some brass help.
Desperate
Sue Millar, Band Leader of Charanga del Norte, told 4BR that they are desperate for some trumpet and trombone players to help them produce the sexy sounds of Cuba every Thursday night.
It's an unique opportunity to learn about and play Cuban styles of music such as Chachachá, Mambo, Pachanga, Bolero, Danzón, Big band Salsa and Son Montuno and enjoy all things CubanSue Millar
Cuban styles
Sue told 4BR: "I currently have 1 trumpet and 1 trombone but want 3 trumpets ideally and 2 or 3 trombones. It's an unique opportunity to learn about and play Cuban styles of music such as Chachachá, Mambo, Pachanga, Bolero, Danzón, Big band Salsa and Son Montuno and enjoy all things Cuban."
