After a two year period Yeovil Town Band have said farewell to principal cornet player Alistair Campbell, who is off to study at the Royal Northern College of Music.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The band would like to take this opportunity of thanking Alistair for his dedication and wish him all the very best for the future.

Thanks are also extended to his parents Paul and Heather for their support to the band over the past two years and also for driving both Alistair and Andrew to every function from their home in Bristol."
