One week before the Swedish championships, Windcorp hosts a pre-contest concert where three Gothenburg based bands will present their individual contest programs.

Resident conductor Andreas Kratz will take the band at the Swedish championships. The band report that the first weekend of rehearsals was a good start and both band and conductor feel confident with each otherWindcorp Band

Two Elite

The concert will features two performances of the elite set test piece 'Swedish Festival Music' and one performance of the first division set test piece 'St. Austell Suite', both by Kenneth Downie.

Secretary, Henrik Glänneskog told 4BR: "Resident conductor Andreas Kratz will take the band at the Swedish championships. The band report that the first weekend of rehearsals was a good start and both band and conductor feel confident with each other."
