The Mount Charles Band have recently completed their summer concert programme finishing with three sell out concerts at the famous Minack Theatre.
Cliff top
A cliff top amphitheatre is certainly an unusual place to perform and not the best of places in bad weather, but the weekend even provided some much needed sunshine for the band's annual ‘Proms' concerts.
Under the baton of professional conductor Andy Duncan, the band performed a mix of entertaining music throughout the first half and followed this up with the traditional Proms music for the finale.

Next stop London
Next on the calendar for the band is their fourth appearance at the Albert Hall, and they have announced that Tim Whitehead has come back to the band on flugel, Joel Oliver has joined on percussion and Leonard Adams, cornet will be on back row.
Derek Thomas, Chairman told 4BR: "I'm really pleased that Tim, Joel and Leonard will be part of the band, in time for the finals. Joel brings with him, his youthful experience while Tim and Leonard bring plenty of experience and wise heads!"
